Consultmed launches new integration with Best Practice via Halo Connect.

Consultmed has successfully launched its integration with Best Practice (BP) Software, now powered by Halo Connect. Best Practice is one of Australia’s leading clinical software providers, used by over 70% of GPs in Australia. This integration offers healthcare providers a modern, FHIR-based, and cloud-enabled solution to streamline their daily workflows.

What is Halo Connect?

The Consultmed integration with Best Practice, enables GPs and healthcare providers to generate and send referrals directly from their patient management software, eliminating the need for re-entering patient details. With Halo Connect’s secure APIs and server-level connectivity, the integration enhances workflows, reduces repetitive data entry, and minimises administrative errors. Referrals are automatically stored in the patient’s file within BP Premier, ensuring accurate and efficient record-keeping.
